How Are You?

The partial lockdown for Corona Virus started on Tuesday 24th March 2020, we're just shy of 3 weeks in. The day after tomorrow marks the day the government will either lift or not lift the restrictions. We all know at this stage that they will not be lifted, we're in this for a few more weeks at the very least.
I want to know, genuinely, how are you? Are you ok?? Life was tough enough, even before lockdown. If you're struggling, in any way, please know that I am here. No judgements, but I'm willing to listen if you need an ear/shoulder x
My aim with online classes was to keep our little community alive, keep a sliver of normality in our lives. You see familiar faces that you would do normally, you get chance to say hi. The exercise is an added bonus! I want to help keep your mentality positive and healthy as well as your bodies, when all other routine has gone out of the window.
If for any reason you are struggling financially and wish to attend our virtual classes, then please message me. It will be in the strictest confidence and I would rather you still be able to be part of our community in any way we can make it happen xxxx
I'm going to release a mindfulness video this week that all website members will be able to access for free - any time that you need to just stop for a few minutes and take time out, or maybe to calm yourself before bed.
Let's focus on the positive more than the negative.
Don't punish yourself. Don't set unachievable routines, targets. Don't worry about food, try to keep it as healthy as you can but that's the best any of us can do at the minute. I know for a fact I am way more inactive than I usually am. We just have to adapt. Don't feel guilty for eating and certainly don't use exercise as a punishment for eating. We want to foster healthy relationships with food and exercise. Exercise because you want to, because it makes you feel good.
What are you grateful for?
I'm grateful that my family and I are healthy. That the sun has been shining and, for once, I have been around to enjoy it. I am taking pleasure in the simple things that we normally take for granted, flowers, the garden, birds singing, being able to sit outside. I'm grateful that my main job allows me to work from home and that I am also still able to bring classes to you a few times a week so that I can still keep in touch with you.
I am extremely grateful to those of you that go out to work every day and keep this country running regardless of what area you work in.
Enjoy time with your children and your families. Keep connected to family and friends - we live in a world where technology makes this possible in amazing ways.
Please get in touch, even if it's just to say hello. I miss all of you.
Happy Easter
Kaye xx
